Numerical and Experimental Analysis of the Energy Performance of an Air Source Heat Pump Combined with a Horizontal Ground-To-Air Heat Exchanger in Different Climates

Hypothesis of a new system based on the combination of an air-ground heat exchanger and an air-cooled heat pump. Generally, an air-ground heat exchanger is used to ventilate, the novelty is to geothermally heat and cool the air before reaching the air-source heat pump, reducing the required electrical power, and improving COP and EER.
